Me too. I am lame and lost in all my efforts to reach Him. But He is faithful, and He always comes to me...
I'm sure maybe He comes to others in diverse ways, and that's fine with me. The main thing is that HE COMES.
I don't want a convenient definition of what spirituality means. I want to always be asking...
On a different note:
I just can't get excited about my efforts to please Him; but I am totally jazzed that I can bring Him pleasure - that is, that He finds pleasure in me. There is a real black & white distinction there for me.
All things considered, I am most thankful that it is in His very nature always to come to us - and that He does not change.
