The Bible was written by many different persons who had personal encounters with the Living God. Three of those writers were fishermen. They didn't write many fish stories; they had something so important happen to them that they left their occupation of fishing, and became fishers of men.
If you follow the Son of God who died for your sins and rose from the dead, He will take you to live with Him forever in His Paradise.
If you follow a liar like L. Ron Hubbard, you will be doomed to the same hell that he now resides in. He could not save himself; he cannot save you.
