We have been studying the anti-christ in Daniel the last few weeks.
In my opinion, too many things remain before the anti-christ described in Daniel and Revelation can be revealed. For one thing, he is supposed to be responsible for ending the daily sacrifice. Well, there is no daily sacrifice now, and there won't be until the temple in Jerusalem is rebuilt. The temple must be built on Mount Moriah, where God commanded, just as the former temples were. Today on that mount stands the Dome of the Rock, a sacred mosque. The Hebrew temple can't be built until the Dome is removed, and the Arabs would never permit that to happen. If Israel proposed to deconstruct the Dome it would provoke an immediate and extremely bloody conflict.
Bottom line: I think you'll have to wait a while for the anti-christ.
