: anti-Christ
: what does this actually mean? I must admit I found the answer not on my own, and so I can't take the credit for this revelation, but we talk about "the anti-Christ" as someone, when many "one's" can actually be anti-Christ.
: And that is the point. anti-Christ is like saying anti- anything you are against: anti-abortion, anti-meat, anti-guns ... if someone is anti-Christ they just don't like Christ for one reason or another. It's kinda ironic when you think about it this way. So in a way if you are a Christian then I guess you can be considered pro-Christ. ^_^
Cool observation. John does make it clear in his epistle that there are many antichrists.
However, there IS a singular man who has been prophecied in Daniel and Revelation who will be THE antichrist. We have been studying the antichrist recently in Daniel at the Thursday night studies. For more info on when the antichrist will come, please see my post in response to G's question (a few lines above this on the message board).
I hope the source of your answer/revelation (which you mentioned above) doesn't disbelieve in the person of the anti-christ. That would be extremely anti-biblical.
We miss you, Alissa!!!
