: I've been going back and forth with Mike Knott's management about Mike doing an acoustic show (his solo stuff and LSU material). My main concern, of course, is getting enough people out to pay for it.
: Since Mike Knott/LSU isn't punk or ska, most of you younger type persons wouldn't come (I know -- some of you understand and appreciate the brilliance that is Mike Knott -- but most don't). Some stuff was punk, yes, but mostly alternative in nature. I on the other hand am an OLD TIMER at age 28 and would pay for Mike to come out by myself for a private show if I could afford it. I use to listen to LSU back in High School. I saw him at C-Stone '89 and '91 and at The Refuge in '94.
: Anyway, what do you think? Would you pay $8 to see him solo with an acoustic guitar spilling his guts out in tunes like This is the Healing and Shaded Pain and breaking strings on songs like Die Baby Die and Freedom?
