The idea:
A coffee house with live local music, poetry/prose, & art on Saturday nights
(except the Saturday nights that another national act concert is taking place)
The cost:
Almost nothing. (We could charge a buck or two to go to the bands to help pay for gas.)
The staff needed:
We would need a few people who would be willing to help out.
It's not much work, as the PA and stage equipment do NOT have to be moved at all.
If bands want to use their own drums, they'll just set up next to ours.
Main jobs would be moving some chairs and cleanup.
If you think this is a good idea, and/or if you'd be willing to volunteer, please respond.
