No. Actually what just happened was unrestrained silliness. But then silliness is not such a bad thing. Not always must things bear such heavy and somber import... in fact not always must humor even be sensible. Silliness allows us to look at our own absurdity and laugh. Without this ability we are nothing more than blind men trying to describe an elephant (reference to old Hindu morality tale) the point being that none of us have what even amounts to a modicum of real understanding about what we are and what God is. All that we think our highest learners have learned is nothing more than utter foolishness to God. Thus silliness allows us to look at our own pitiful state and respond not in pomposity or pretense, but in genuine laughter, for our state is nothing if not entirely funny. We live in a dream, yet get so wrapped up in it that we wallow and trevail over these puffs of smoke.
In short... we ought'nt to take ourselves so seriously.
To quote Dr. Jim Goetsch, "and the fool just laughs..."
I am a fool in every sense of the word.
