Hi all!
Most people I know like music. I like music - all kinds of music. There are some songs I like better than others. I don't know why, that's just the way it is. Actually I think I might know why...
I want to mention two songs: "Committed" (by Black & White World) and "Live" (by Lenny Kravitz)
The beginning of the chorus of "Committed" is this, "I wanna be committed..." (OK, yes all you jokesters this has two meanings, but the song is about commitment to God). I think this is a cool thought.
The beginning of the chorus of "Live" is, "Live" (as in don't die, Live!). Again, cool thought.
I have been getting "into" the message of a song more than the actual music, although I have a great respect for the music. I have noticed that I tend to gravitate to authoritative-type messages lately as opposed to "weak" messages. Yes, I do want to be committed, but I feel like I AM committed!
I don't know if this is something anyone else thinks about, but if you want to talk further, let me know...
P.S. There's obviously more that can be said than what is here...
