: This haunting picture features a crazy eye'looking thing, hanging over a dark shack-looking thing next to a spritely surfing-looking guy. There is some feather-head-dressy-looking thing standing in the shack-looking thing. This particular piece conveys Mike's need for inner coherence as he battles the urge to surf away from unknown headhunters in his mind who he believes are sent by the Great One-eyed Lord of the Tropics, Monokoloetis! Monokoloetis is the dark sun above the heads of all the patheitc surfchildren in Tropic-Land but Michael, sending his healing energies through the Surfy-looking guy is coming to bring new powerful surf techniques to aid the sinking children who are normally prone to blow-dart assaults from the headhunters. Mainly the whole message here is one of daring and courage against evil, alternately it is a painting about the political climate of Bora Bora in light of the recent epidimic of Porcine Discomfort, but I won't reveal too much about the real meaning. Overall, this has alot to do with communism, or, I think--Martha Stewart....
