Hey friends,
I was so glad to have many of you come over to our house last night. I want to personally thank each of you who came to my little informal 'send-off'. I was really pleased! I am truly a lucky man! I will miss each and every one of you, even those who could not make it but would have if it were in their power. I am glad some of you finally got to meet Kumar and Ravi (although some of you already knew Ravi). Stephanie worked real hard on the food and the excellent cake. I was really glad to finally eat cream cheese for the first time in my life. Also, thanks John and Kathy for my first taste of Sake. That was a great toast! Lee, it was nice meeting you too! There were too many cool things that happened last night for me to get into them all here. Suffice it to say that I was pleased as punch. Also, for the record, I wore my sandals the entire evening and I noticed among us many more sandal wearers. This was real cool--Kliph I missed you man! I hope everyone had as much fun as I did. I love you all to death and if it were possible I would kidnap all of you and snatch you away to live with me in the foothills of Colorado. Let's stay in contact.

: all are welcome to my house (and tim's) tonight after 6 pm and up til midnight. it is an informal gathering so i can say goodbye to alot of people i wouldn't get a chance to see one on one. it is primarily a selfish endeavor on my part, so i can stare at all your pretty faces one last time (even though Kliph can't come). Feel free to wear sandals since Kliph won't be there. Hey, perhaps we can make a video tape of our feet and send it to him. Anyway, bring your own snackeroos and neat stories and tidbits to share with others. There will be people from church, some of my friends from work and various and sundry other places, odd junctures in time and space....Feel free to join the motley crew. I know they will be glad to make your acquaintance, especially Kumar, who is bouncing off the walls. I also want folks to meat my parental units. Some of you have, but, hey, others have not. Audrey can't come, but Jeff (meu irmao) might be there. Feel free to speak English, Spanish, Portuguese, Hindi, hebrew, Aramaic, Latin or Koine Greek, as these will be the predominant languages. Hey, don't let my weird email scare you away. Mainly it will be just a bunch of normal Tampa-type folks, with some scattered Lakelanders and New Port Richians, sitting around in a room evolving toward something like 'after-church fellowship'. This could be a real normal event, so don't worry about us strapping you up in flying gear, and mounting you from the ceiling while we take photos of you and strange animals. The Cure video footage won't be shot until after midnight when Robert and the boys come over. In the meantime we would love to have you, so call Bill or Tim at 238-0952. I can give you splitting accurate directions. Love ya--all of you are my babes--Bill
