: : : : : : : : : : : : : hey folks, it seems that there might be some connexions afoot out here. I am starting to find the little links to our art/lit/music tribal family out here in the Broomfield-Boulder area. Today I met Merle, who is going to share my phone number w/ some friends of his who are members of the tribe. I wonder how many folks we'll meet who we already knew from Cornerstone or wherever? Can't wait! Also, I'm still trying to work out the church thing. It's hard w/out a ride. I know two really great churches: Nativity of Our Lord in Broomfield and Saint Martin in Boulder. They are both on fire and very traditional. great combination if you ask me! Please pray that I get a ride to Mass! Love, Bill
: : : : : : : : : : : : Tribal Family?!?
: : : : : : : : : : : Yes, I don't know if you ever went to Crossover during the Burger Street incarnation, but one thing that was fairly evident was a 'tribal family' thing. Nothing to take too seriously though. We just all shared lots of overlapping similiar interests. No big mystery!
: : : : : : : : : : Yeah, I came in right at the end of that. I used to think it was just coincidence that things always end right after I find them, now I think that I travel in some sort of dissappating aura, whether it is generated from me or not, it really is wierd. So sorry about that guys:)
: : : : : : : : : This whole tribal thing is real. It is only in our nearsightedness that we forsake the tribe. let's keep our head toward the East, waiting for the rising sun, who is our hope to gather us into the one family, the one tribe, the one nation. We are already there, but when we keep our heads low we don't see it. John, I'm not talking about you specifically. That dissipating aura is something you fight. John Trudell calls it 'SPIRIT EATER'. I believe that it is that force which seeks to pull men away from god and as a corollary to that, away from each other, and as a corollary to that, away from themselves. We need to stay united, to God, to others, and then we need to stay whole ourselves. Let's keep sending smoke signals, and feel free to visit me in my dreams. I often get to see the rest of the tribe through that particularly wonderful medium. Does this post sound odd? It isn't. Love, Bill
: : : : : : : : Ok, now I get it. Isn't strange that half the people who lived at the Burger Street incarnation are now living in Colorado? I don't know about sending smoke signal, though. Florida is in a drought right now, if I start a fire to send a smoke signal, I'm going to burn the whole wooded area I live in and possibly a lot of rural New Port Richey. I better stick to electronic mail.
: : : : : : : I see tribal family smoking peace pipe on big mountain! Perhaps Steve and I should join the Burger Street movement!
: : : : : : Emphasis on "movement," I fear...
: : : : : Agreed-I was talking about a non-anxious, spontaneous, collective celebration, sort of like a wild tree growing and sprawling out everywhere and the birds coming to live in its branches.....no one is passing out the kool-aid.....
: : : : Well, that's always a comfort. Although I do like the lime.
: : : : I think Cari hoped to redefine "movement" as physical relocation, say... to Colorado, for instance. I'll be hearing daily "Wonderful Colorado" stories before you know it.
: : : Great I'm still trying to win the lottery so I can move to Tampa and everybody's talking about going to Colorado.
: : That's okay G, we'll still be here. I couldn't possibly move where the weather is comfortable and the people are nice, it is against my fated destiny. Plus by the time we moved, they'd all go somewhere else.
: : Translation: STAY HERE PLEASE!!!!!!

: O.K. enough Colorado talk, here's a cool website.
Great artwork! He has some cool links too.
