You just didn't know how to start a converstaion etc. I suffer from a double problem. The first impression people get of me is that I have lots of friends and that I am basically a pretty cool guy. Then, on the other hand I have this terriffic fear of basic social settings. I mean, give me a one on one at a Village Inn and I'm fine, but put me in a group of three or more, without a defined purpose and I lose myself, I have no social skills and I suffer from a thousand and one awkwardnesses that plague me in a group. I can't even order a pizza without freaking out, unless I get a single slice. It's not that I don't like people either. I just freeze up! don't know my defined role, etc. Also, I'm shy as hell. So, if there is anyone here who might think that I don't like them or that I never wanted to be their friend, it's just not true. Especially [hopefully he knows who he is]! Anyway, I consider you all my strange, dysfunctional family--my tribe (if you will permit the term). I hope that we will talk more in the future.
