: : I have to admit I can't help but be curious what all that stuff about Jennifer and giveawayboy's (Bill is it?) bad person in Georgia and how one person could make people hate an entire state. It just doesnt seem logical but I know I dont have all the facts. I was temped to take it to their personal email but felt that might be rude without an invitation to do so, maybe I'm too Southern? :-p Can any of you help me understand?

~~Yeah, I don't "hate" Georgia either. Hate is such a strong word, and I think we use it often to describe things we dislike, when we shouldn't. Actually, I had some really bad experiences with the Atlanta area, and I haven't quite recovered completely from them. Through the unconditional love of Jesus Christ, I have been able to work through a lot of bitterness and resentment that I had built up---mostly before I had become a Christian. Sure, there are still painful memories though. So I don't really hold an entire state responsible for a few people's deeds, and not even an entire city--although to return there would probably engender more pain than I think I can handle. At least right now. I feel my growth as a Christian continually, and while none of us are perfect (cuz if we were, then we wouldn't need God as we do) I do see myself as a work in progress. Perhaps one day such little things won't stir up such turmoil in me. As I said in my post--I was glad you weren't the person I had in mind--and if you knew my situation--you would be glad too. Sorry if it freaked you out---didn't mean to, of course. :)
