: here's an example. at egroups.com, their message boardso display each recent message but responses to earlier posts will still be linked with them in a string even if they appear on the date they were written. by the way the post i am referring to is connected to my string on matthew shepard.

Unfortunately this particular message board program doesn't do that. The major programming necessary for a new egroups-type of format is something I just don't have time to learn. Sorry...
Suggestion: If you want to respond to something older, just copy it at the beginning of your post, and then respond to it. ;-)
