: don't take for granted how you are connected to your friends. tonight marc and i were sitting in his room, laying on his bed listening to some old music from WCIE and we were tracing the paths of impact that our friends have had on us. He was saying how Jay McElroy was the first guy that introduced him to Crossover. I told him for me it was Robert Colon. Funny! None of us ever sees Jay or Rob anymore, but it's neat to see how God has used them to connect us to so many friends through Crossover. And think, each of us has his or her own friend who connected them to something that they are still doing today. Marc and I wouldn't be sitting in his room listening to old CCM and reminiscing if it wasn't for Jay and Rob. It's neat to think of all my experiences with Crossover, Win, art w/ Chris, hanging with Steve holland, living with Steve, Cari, Sarah, John V., Tim Ogden, etc. And none of that would have happened without me meeting Rob Colon. Like the Lakota saying goes: We are all related. Just some thoughts. Hey--if you can think of it, share a way one person has impacted you that still has a lasting effect. Maybe you don't see this person at all any more. Don't forget them since they might have changed your entire life.
: Later, Bill
I had reoccuring things and people...I was going to Celebration at the BSU at USF, I had some freinds there I knew...From there I met Win, Mike Cleary, Alan Cowart and Skippy...I quit going there and started going to Meltdown after a month of meeting Jeff Yale...I was doing a light show in Ybor a couple of years later and I run into Win and Skippy...I did a couple of light shows at Crossover right when or before we started meeting there, that's where I met Steve. Win was going there and after his death more of the people I knew from USF started to surface there...I started attending there but, off and on....In November of 99 I got in a bad accident and couldn't drive. I only attended one service after that....I was planning on going to CLF and Crossover at the same time as soon as I got a car....but as soon as I got a car, the group of friends I had at Crossover had migrated over to CLF....Now some of the people I knew at USF, some of the people I met at YFC andmy group of friends from Crossover have intermingled into one happy family along with the spirit of Win that always lives on....
