Wow... I have immense respect for you. How did you find out? You are really close. Moshi-moshi is a sound that foxes (i.e. the shape-shifting, people-impersonating demons) can't make hence when you answer the phone you say moshi-moshi so the listener knows you are who you say and NOT A FOX!
