: Hey BBS people.
: What's up? What is the definition of friend? What are real needs? Is there a need for another, or is it just a want? Some of you may know what I'm talking about. Some may think this isn't the place to ask such questions. For those of with the later opinion, I don't really care. Anyone have anything good to relate to THIS subject?
: I know I haven't been around lately, and that's just because I'm having a tough time applying my current situation to my current needs, if they can indeed be called that.

Up is the direction that moves away from the earth. A friend is an aquaintance with whom one shares a protion of their life usually involving some level of mutual respect or attraction. Needs are those things which one requires for survival or health. There can be a need for compantionship, for affection, for love, for physical touch, for intellectual stimulation. All of these things can be found in "another" as you put it. But in a specific sense I do not beleive that there is ever a "need" as defined above for a specific person, except for Jesus, who designed that need for himself to draw us to him.
Forget what others think, obviously you wanted someone to respond to this. Remember our conversation that day on the road? Get out of your own head. It won't get to you if you stay in well lit places, away from things that lower your thinking, moving air helps. Think only of survival and quit trying to help others for now. Get around those who can stand strong for you when you can't. You don't even need to talk, just be there.
Others won't understand this post, but it isn't for anyone but you. Get your hands in the dirt. Feeling real things and doing real things that directly impact your survival will break depression. This is an illness of our complacent culture. Break yourself down... but do it in a way that works, not a way that is in your head. That means get out and be physical. If something is dragging you down cut it loose, whatever it is commit it to God like the Hebrews did. They destroyed it. I don't care what responsibilities you think you have, all you need to do is eat sleep and breathe. Forget the band, the website, other people who you think need your help. Forget the dog. She'll be by your side anyway, they are better equipped for surviving than you. If you don't strip these things away they will remain burdens. If I don't hear from you soon I'll track you down.
