if you want to do a giveaway, ask your pastor if he doesn't mind and announce it one week ahead of time, or simply set up a week with him and simply set up a blanket on the lawn outside near the donuts and just have all your stuff ready. the main thing is having things you know people will need. that is all. that's all the art to it. ofcourse, if you wanted to get fancy you could always have some cool music and maybe find a dancing monkey or something. the main thing is not to compete with a church service.
