Here goes--I have been very non-interested in God lately although I have been feigning interest--actually I still have a hint of interest, but as the good book says--the Spirit will not always strive with man....Today Terry makes me aware of alot of little warning signs in my life that I have either been ignoring or just not seeing. I can spiritualize it all I want and say God isn't showing me things, and there is even a degree of truth to that--but on some issues God is flashing huge bright orange caution lights and I'm not paying attention. I am reading other signs, or something like that. I am so glad that I have friends like John McGee and Terry and John Vaughan too who can help me angle my head correctly, and see clearly again. Lately, I've been sort of irritated with John, but that's only becuase John tries to challenge me. Sometimes I wish I could be closer with him but then when I get what I want I don't truly appreciate it. John [McGee]--I'm saying something here about wanting to stay with you longterm. This of course is what you want as well. This also means that I INTEND to change alot of my ways. But be patient. Perfection won't come overnight. Rest assured that I am staying IN THE RACE. Jason and John Vaughan, you guys are sort of like the ones who confirm and direct. Terry, she is, like John McGee, a confronter and a good friend. She wounds me only to heal me. What a pal! Plus, she has an uncanny ability to tell you exactly where you need surgery, with a little chuckle and lots of love, so you can't stay mad at her too long. But, back to John and Jason--I love both your heads--can I have them for dessert?
