Everyone must know that Hindu gods really get into riding around on the backs of animals. Vishnu rides Garuda, Kartikeya rides that peacock, etc. Ganesh is no exception. His favorite vehicle is the rat. Although I have seen him ride a lion once. So, this week I alrady explained how Jonathan, my Panda of message board fame, went to stay with my new movie-watching buddy Steven. Well, when Jonathan turned around and waved goodbye(tears....tears...)I just had this inner knowing that soon I was to be given another stuffed animal. I just knew it. So, when I came to the Runaway Cafe (where did you get that name? I like it) I was talking to my sister Paula and her daughter Roan and that cute man of hers. Anyway, I walked into the nursery where we were all camped out and the first thing I saw was Cheeser, Roan's little mouse. Instantly, my response was to pick Cheeser up and start relating the information about Ganesh and Cheeser. Funny thing too since lately Steven has been calling me Ganesh. I am sure this has something to do with my stomach. Ganesh is credited for holding the entire universe in his belly you know. This reminds me alot of Colossians 1 15-20 (in him [Yesu-Indian for Jesus] all things consist/are held together). Anyway, back to Cheeser. Due to Paula's extremely keen foresight, Cheeser was sent home with me and instantly manifested into the form of Mushika, Ganesh's rat. The idea here is that God is big enough to contain the whole universe, and humble enough to ride on the back of a mouse. He contains all, but he wants to come down to our level. Something like that.

Your brother in Yesu, Bill

Thanks sister Paula for letting Cheeser stay w me.
