To follow that logic, I guess that makes the designated driver the person designated to hang all of the sinners on the cross until they recant their evil ways? Or maybe the person who drives every possible convert as far away from any real conversion experience as they can by incessantly pointing out the four spiritual laws? Or maybe the one who just drives all of us psuedo-Christian decadent heathen lovers insane by their tight-lipped plastic smiles and smug nods, as if the most fun they have allowed themselves since they threw out those satanic Simon & Garfunkel records was playing Bible-opoly and drinking the dregs from the bottle of prune juice!
