: : Dern it! How do you put pics in your posts. I've asked everyone. I just don't know how and it's starting to driveme nuts. Can anyone--ANYONE--just explalin this to me! Please! PLEASE! Thanks! :)
: First, the pic must already be uploaded somewhere, like your own website or someone else's. Then you type the complete exact URL (location; address) of where the pic is into the "Optional Image URL:" space at the bottom of the page. IMPORTANT: Do NOT put the URL of the .htm PAGE where the pic is; you must put the URL of the PIC ITSELF (the right URL will always end in .gif or .jpg).
: A helpful hint: Check the URL first by loading it in your browser. You know you have the correct URL loaded when nothing is in your browser window but the pic itself top left on a gray background - nothing else should be on the page. Then highlight and copy the current URL to your clipboard. Then you go to the message board and paste it into the "Optional Image URL:" space at bottom of your new post. That way you won't make a mistake.
: Behold the picture I included! ;-) I did it by getting the exact URL of the picture, which is:
: and pasting it in the "Optional Image URL:" space.
Not for nothing, but I didn't know how to find the URL of a picture even though someone showed me(see, don't feel so bad Bill) so I right clicked on it and then chose properties. Presto the URL is shown plainly for you to copy and paste into the Optional Image URL space. : )
