It was Calvary Temple International Christian Center. We were both 'servants' [read 'leader'] in their youth ministry. These were the years before John and I melded into the legendary compact, stackable, nutrient-enriched broth of local fame. Back then I sort of idolized John but didn't really know him too well. If it helps at all, during those years I was still reading Robertson and Perretti and dreaming of 'the ministry'. Now I am reading Gyatso and Arenas and dreaming of 'a slightly larger canvas'.
