I returned to find my back window busted out and my purse gone. I never imagined that someone would bust out a window to get a purse. DUH! Apparently, I never imagined correctly. I felt so VIOLATED! Ask anyone who has had to put up with my ranting this weekend. It was not a good scene. I called the police, cancelled all my credit cards (Well, Steve did), and drove around that "hood" looking for the thieves who had enough audacity to take my stuff. I didn't find them, but I did accomplish the task of making the street people of that neighborhood very aware of the fact that I was pissed off. Steve told me that it would be illegal to run over any person unfortunate enough to be carrying a leopard skin purse so I gave up after about an hour or so. Well, the police did find my purse. I'm not sure what's left of it, but I'm certain that all my credit cards and money are gone. I hope that they left my jewelry because I did have two of my favorite faerie necklaces in there. If they're gone, some girl may have the unfortunate experience of having a faerie necklace ripped off of her lovely neck... I hope it's mine.
