It's not just my sick fascination with futbol, but if you like Burlap to Cashmere...their big hit is the open and closing music for MAD ABOUT MAMBO, the story of an Irish soccer player, who emulates a Brasilian Catholic Carlos Riga, who joins a predominantly Protestant Irish ball team, and then decides to learn samba and other forms of latin dance to enhance his skills as a soccer player and learn who to 'dance on field'. The neat thing is that in the whole process he finds and falls in love w the real pretty Keri Russell. Anyway, the whole movie is real cheesy but there is that BTC connection for those who are interested. I'm still wanting to see Sam Phillips in whatever Die Hard movie that was, and I know here music was also in that Pret-A-Porter thing, and her husband worked on THE BIG LEBOWSKI soundtrack.
