for those of you who haven't seen THE EYES OF TAMMY FAYE yet, do yourself a favor. If you grew up during the 80's aware of the cheesiness of television ministries, then you will want to watch this down to earth portrayal of Tammy Faye, as she gives her own side of scandal, divorce, cancer and living a life in front of the camera. I have mentioned this before, but now I have seen it with my own eyes. Chris Kingsford and I rented it tonight. It is hard to get, I'll warn you. But, it's worth the effort. I'm thinking about ordering a copy from her website:

After watching this I was inspired in my faith, inspired about being real as a Christian, and about not being scared to identify with Christ and also to relate to all people, no matter if they are religious or not. I want to become real and transparent like Tammy. She is NOT perfect, but she'll be the first to tell you that. Ru Paul narrates, with the help of two really cool puppets. Hope you enjoy!
Bill, who likes Tammy more than ever. This was the most authentic thing I'd seen in awhile. I'm not making a joke guys. This was very touching and inspiring. I felt close to Jesus for the first time in a long time tonight. This has happened to me twice lately. Tonight, and being at Tim's party the other night. I really felt God's presence there too, and to quote Bono, 'I need it now'....
