I have an idea. Why don't we pick a day and both start walking toward each other at the exact same time. Eventually we will meet in the middle. This would be great fun and who knows what might happen along the way. If we both walk at about the same pace it's only around 15 miles each. Or maybe it would be better to do it on bicycles. That way we could cover more ground. It would cut the trip time in about half I suspect. What day is good for you? How about Monday. That's New Year's Eve. Or maybe Tuesday. Maybe others will want to come as well. We can all travel toward each other until we meet, but no cars.

: :We may have to re-build the paradigm. But for now, I can build beautiful gardens, I can teach real world skills.

: You can teach us how to make shoes, for instance, something that some people might laugh at, until they find that one day that knowledge might come in handy.

: :You can paint, and you are very well connected both with people and with ideas. Between just the two of us we could really go a long way to building someone's dream. Now imagine the skills of everyone else that could be worked together. All we need is for people to desire something strong enough to pursue it.

: I am here! I do not have a car! I do not do alot of fancy, expensive things, but I CAN and AM WILLING to make tea and hot chocolate for people. I am armed and ready to light candles for them, to give them Smartees, to play music for them, or to show them movies that can ENLIGHTEN them. I am ready to do those things. I am also ready to draw, and to paint and to write. And I DO those things.
: I am very good at planting gardens too. I only wish you could have seen the last one I did. Març can vouch for me that it was pretty darn cool. I CAN do this too, but I do not have any land here. I am willing to come and DO art in peoples' yards. I am willing to go sit in cafes and restaurants with folks and let them talk. I am willing to brainstorm w people. They just have to want to bad enough to drive to the House of the Talking Palms.

: :Our heritage is immense and we deny it and turn back to the video game. It's like we mix out reality and bring it back artificially.

: Exactly! We need to carve out our vision so that it is established in both Heaven and on Earth. Part of this carving is sitting still why God does the carving. It is ultimately his image. But, there comes a time where the action of his carving and our carving is so fused that we can say it is sanctified work. I am not going to make a bunch of rules about this, but I will say that, many times in the name of humility, we shrink back from our part of the carving process, spouting some great-sounding sludge about how God should get all the credit and not us. I think we have it all wrong. We are GOOD CREATIONS of God and we are created to WALK in GOOD WORKS. This is Christ in us, the hope of glory. It is not us in ourselves. Our own righteousness is compared to filthy rags (to put it nicely). Every good thing we do flows from our union w God. That is the only way we can bring forth fruit, by staying IN the source of life. Anyway, that's all. I like what you said alot. and I wouldn't mind seeing the elves if they are there. But instead of denying their existence or putting too much stock in them I'm going to take your advice and God's advice and go work in the garden.

: Bill
