Thanks everyone who is praying for my friend V. He is the guy
who I met who is Indian and I think Hindu. I met him when I
spied him looking at my book, HANUMAN: MESSENGER OF GOD. Anyway,
since then I keep praying for him and running into him
everywhere--and lots of my friends are praying for him too. I
just have a good feeling about him. I am also NOT making him
into some kind of 'conversion project'. I ABSOLUTELY DO NOT
BELIEVE IN THAT. I am hoping to become friends w him, but only
if it's God's will. V seems to have great devotion to God. I
can't tell for sure since we haven't talked alot, but the way he
was looking at my book betrayed a heart of devotion. I think you
can see it in peoples' eyes too. But I am not trained in all
that. Anyway, he just seems like such a good guy. Today when I
went to a cafe for lunch I had planned to read C.S. Lewis' THE
ABOLITION OF MAN, but for some reason I chose Rabindranath
Tagore's SELECTED POEMS instead. So, I'm sitting here reading
this Indian author when who walks in but V. This is our third or
fourth meeting like this. We both smiled and chatted for a
second. Then he sat at a table near me but we didn't talk while
he ate. When I got up to leave he said goodbye and smiled again.
I think the walls are coming down between us. Anyway, thanks for
praying. I think I'll light a candle for V tonight. I just get a
real good feeling about that guy!
