i just had a dream last night about me being at a huge party where father phil and several other 'christian' friends were attending, and i was basically hosting it. the house was like a penthouse or townhouse or loft. anyway, at one point i walked up and challenged father phil to a wrestling match and he and i were sort of play fighting--and it was so cute to see him playing like a little boy. but there was one friend there who was a vampire --only i hadn't been aware of it-- and at one point we went into my room to sit and talk. the lights were off and we were looking at the snow outside. at one point he was trying to bite me and i told him that he needed to go. anyway, there was a huge struggle where he was trying to psychologically manipulate me. then i forced him out of the room somehow, into the snow. there were these boys swimming out back and i was wanting to go jump in the pool w them. maybe by being around their noise and the lights and the music and the party feeling i would not have to watch my friend, alone, stumbling stupidly across my lawn, knowing that he could return in a fit of hunger. everything was so vivid. i could smell chlorine, i could see the these yellow lights inside the pool squiggling up through the boy-churned depths. the water looked silvery black with yellow ghosts slashing through it. and i could see glass tables and plastic tables with lanterns and bug candles and plastic see-through dixie cups on them. a radio was playing. then the vampire went outside feeling embarrassed that i made him leave, and he tripped and stumbled and he knocked over something that was like a gas grill or something and the whole patio caught on fire and there were boys in this pool surrounded by flames and the whole front yard was burning, dixie cups were melting, etc. --the radio kept playing and i could feel snow landing on my face and turning into water.
