you all made me mushy--that and maybe I just watched Tea With Mussolini one too many times recently. I think I saw it four times in a month. Also, I have a real weakness for the Smiths these days, which might make me a little soft in the heart......that and being real open about alot of things, such as my painful irritating bouts with religion and morality.....all this sort of bubbling and spewing up something about love and friendship and some of the special gals in my life......by the way, Cari! let's go thrifting sometime............and oh by the way, i just got General Public's Best Of CD and have listened to the song TENDERNESS a little too much

Pollavon lends her own special magic to my life. During a time in my life that could have been bleak and lonely, she created a family around me. She welcomed me into a sacred space that she was learning to make for herself and John and Roan, even though Roan was not visible to us then. She was definitely with us. Now she is walking and talking. Oh my! I suck at being an uncle. Will Roan still have me after I missed out on all those moments? oh well, back to Pollavon--thanks to her really good things are constantly reactivated in my life. Coriga is not just funny, but FUN! I truly enjoyed every time I was with her. She is always interested in others. I like her since she likes to look at you when she talks to you, and also since she smiles alot. Frankly, I think that is tops!

Cari is like a sister to me. Admittedly, since she has been teaching, and I have been carless, we have drifted a bit, but I know that if I need her she will be there. To be honest, I have no doubts about that. Also, I have seen something remarkable in her--the ability to reach out to others. When I lived w her I saw her do this time and again. I have seen her go to great lengths to include people in events and activities that would not have otherwise known about them, or been invited. I have seen her labour over how to get people together in a group. I know that she means business when it comes to people. Plus she likes Gordon Gano too, and heck!----so do I!
