I know that a librarian exists, and I know part of their job, more than just working in a library is specifically to KNOW HOW TO FIND THINGS FOR PEOPLE....I know that a huge part of what makes them unique as librarians is the time they give to that special work. So, I guess I would like to figure out how to get their knowledge and skills and kindness to work with people in a web context. Perhaps it already exists and I just don't know about it. Anyway, you are right!
Well many librarians are very web savvy these days, you just have to go to their place and interact with them. If you were trying to make a sort of virtual library, I guess that would entail hiring librarians to sit at computers and run chats.
