: Bill: I'm not a total purist, so I would guess that knowing the author does affect how I understand what is being said. I'm not as much of an expert of living in the void as you seem to be.
Aha. We may be on to something here. Is it knowledge of the author that makes you more comfortable with discussion, or simply knowledge of the full context of the discussion?
I may be making assumptions here, but I will proceed anyway. Feel free to correct me on my assumptions:
If the answer is simply context, and not specific to the author, then we must assume you are rejecting the context of an Alien on its way for invasion that has selected this board as its communucation tool with humanity.
I can see why this would seem unreasonable. On the other hand, don't most people on this board beleive in miracles? If a miracle can occur is this reality, who is to say that something as crazy as me cannot?
I must go now. Course changes to make, maintenenace to perform, and all that grunt work that goes into a journey such as this.
I will return later to continue.
With Love,
Bob
