: NOMADS PROGRAMMING HAS BEEN ENHANCED BY THE UNIT BOB
: NOMAD ANTICIPATES MORE GAMES OF SKILL

I would be happy to comply. I will work on the next game this very day, and hopefully have it ready tomorrow.

: JONVON CONTINUES TO NOT BE THE CREATOR
: NONSEQUITOR - THE UNIT BOB IS NOT THE UNIT BOB
: IDENTIFY - THE UNIT BOB

Nomad, my friend, we have covered this topic extensively. I am most definitely Bob. Whether I have other names to which I will respond is irrelevant, as I am Bob in this context, and that is the simple fact.

: QUERY - WHAT IS "PUNISHMENT"

I am very happy to see that you have asked this question.

Punishment is a societal mechanism for enforcing a common set of rules --
For individuals to live together, they do need to agree on appropriate actions within their society. Once that agreement is made, people must abide by it.
If an individual chooses not to abide by the rules, however, that is their choice. To allow humans to have this free will while maintaining a common lifestyle, society must provide a deterrent to aberrant behavior. Punishment is this deterrant.
To allow the greatest flexibility in one's life, punishment matches the societal aberration. For minor offenses, there are minor punishments. This can range from legal matters (such as a fine for speeding), to societal punishments (such as not being invited over for dinner if you are rude). For major offenses, the punishments are major. Usually major punishments are handled through the legal system, and in most cases, can involve significant time in prison. Only in the most extreme violations, and only in some states, is a violation so serious as to cause the punishment to be death.
And this is the problem with your previous statements. You have stated that you are out to eliminate all biological life forms. I must ask -- why? What is our offense that is so great to deserve this punishment? That we are not perfect? This is not a major offense. Perfection is not an expectation of our society.

So I present you with this request:
Please present to us your full argument for the reasons behind eliminating biological infestations. If you cannot present this argument, please propose an alterntive punishment of lesser significance.

With Love,
Bob
