if NOMAD is a machine, and NOMAD has a ghost, then NOMAD's ghost would also have to be "machine-like". which would mean most likely that the ghost of NOMAD would be a program of some kind, let loose on the internet where it now interfaces with us. imagine, it decided to land here at the Crossover Message Board! wow! i'm really curious how the famed NOMAD ended up here, of all places. after being housed in the machine, travelling interstellar spaces, interfacing with gas and all that fancy jazz, then somehow downloaded from the machine (to Steve's server?), well this seems a rather pedestrian place to end up.
