it is may 27 and i am good today.

we are hoping a bunch of people will come to our place today and eat sauce and some form of pasta.

pollavon makes superlative sauce, being italian and all.

i am not listening to anything except the sound of my fingers typing.

i am however still savoring a performance of Bartok's Music for Strings, Percussion and Celesta that i heard on the radio yesterday. it was a revelation, a celebration, a miracle. it was a better performance than the one i have on cd.

it made me want to mix some of bartok's ideas with some stuff from the philip glass piece for stage, 1000 AIRPLANES ON THE ROOF, along with some tibetan monk style prophetic kinda utterances and a big ass screen behind me showing STUFF and some electronic gear pumping out some music and chris kingsford playing something (anything) on his drums and then playing something over it with a midi guitar hooked into a synclavier, or some software running on a pc or whatever.
