Here are two mysterious Florida tales straight from reality:
PICTURES FROM HEAVEN
One day in 2000 I was walking to work down Himes Ave. in Tampa when suddenly I witnessed a large framed picture crash to the sidewalk in front of me. As I looked up to see where it came from, I witnessed another like it, and finally a third slightly larger. There was nothing they could have fallen from and as it was 6 am there were no people up tossing framed pictures outside their homes. Not to mention they fell straight down and not at any angles. There were no parabolic trajectories here. I still do not know where they came from. The two smaller ones were blue paintings of clouds and ocean waves. The larger, was orange and had a scene of ducks flying off of a lake like you would imagine right after a hunter's gunshot. The funny thing was that all of them were in frames behind glass, but the largest one was odd since the glass was obviously in tact, before it landed on the concrete, but the painting itself was riddled w bullet holes. the glass had no evidence of having been shot through. They just all fell from directly above the spot they landed on. Also, they all landed in the same spot.
THE GHOST DOG OF DEBUEL ROAD
One night as I was driving home from my friend's house in Lutz, Florida I was going down a long stretch of non-lit road called DeBuel Road. All of a sudden before me I caught site of something that seemed to be between the size of large dog and a small deer. I'm not sure which it resembled more although it looked a little like a greyhound. We DO have greyhounds here in Tampa too. Anyway, it was running, greyhound like across the road, and it disappeared into the woods on the north side of the road. The strange thing about this siting was that the ghost dog/deer, or whatever it was appeared to be iridescent blue and I could see the lines on the road right through it's body.
So, there are my two Florida tales of the unexplained. Hmmmm......
I recently posted these on a FLORIDA UNEXPLAINED website:
