: : I have no clue what John thinks he's going to get flack about. I think we all believe in God's supremacy... I understand your fears, though. I'm also a little nervous about flying home for the summer, but I'm not going to let a little fear stop me from living my life. When my time comes, I'll go whether I'm on the ground or in the sky (I guess this is the whole predestination thing). Obviously, your concern is a little deeper because you are concerned about what happens to your children if something happens to you. I think your idea about praying for direction and peace is good, but like that guy whom always gets flack says, "Ultimately you have to make the decision."
: : BTW, I think the security will be better there than in a place that nobody expects will be targeted.

: : : I'll get flack for this, but what else is new. If it were me I wouldn't worry about it. God has us in his hands and our day to die is already determined. There's nothing we can do to change that. Of course I'm not saying walk down a bullet or anything, but I suspect you'll go and come and never see a problem. But if you really feel like God is warning you from it, then don't go. Ultimately you have to make the decision.

: : : : Hey guys, I need your input.
: : : : I've been making plans to go to see my friend in NJ while my kids are away at camp.
: : : : This will be the Independance Day week June 29th - July 5th.
: : : : I need to get my tickets soon, but I have been having second thoughts about it since I will be away from my kids and possibly in an area that could be targeted by terrorists. The shore. Are my concerns unfounded?
: : : : I know I need to pray about it, but I would appreciate any words of encouragement or discouragement you may have. Thanks.
