My brain hurts.
Here my brain went off on a practical vector from those articles, and I posted a response. Little did I know that Bill's brain went off on a much more abstract vector, and he was posting a response simultaneously. Reconciling both responses, or attempting to, is just making my eyes glaze over and my brain go flippety-googley.
