: Steve,
: How are you? Is everything going well for you and Cari?
Cari and I are fine. She is out west visiting her family right now and will be back next Wednesday. She is pretty sad (we both are) because Cyon died last week, for no apparent reason, right before she got back from Cornerstone. She didn't get to say goodbye. :-(
: How is Sarah? Her children?
Sarah and the grandkids just left to go back to Salt Lake after visiting for a month. Sarah also went to Cornerstone with Cari and Corey. Tovah just turned 3 and is a real sweetie. Leila is 1 1/2 now, very cute but going through her "scream at everything" phase. Not always pleasant. ;-)
: Your schooling?
I have a BA and an AA. I am working on a Masters in Theology from JTS and a Bachelors in Religious Studies at USF.
: How are your recording sessions going? Do you have anything finished and / or available to listen to?
5 songs nearly done. Here are 3. Pete is playing drums on the first 2, and Terry Platt on the 3rd. The leads on Loving You are Chip, and the rapping on Wrapped Up is E.J. aka Spec. All else is me.

: How's Chip doing? Do you have an email address you can send me so I can drop him a line?
Chip is playing in a secular band called Chrome Yellow. He no longer is sales manager at Land Rover; he is now in mergers & acquisitions. Leaves him more time to play. He played some smoking leads on a couple of the songs on my new album. The family moved to Carrollwood last year. Call or email me for his new number. I think his cell phone is the same. Not sure how much he checks his email, but his address used to be: Bennett8@aol.com
: Have you talked with Jason lately? Do you know how he is doing?
Talked with him last week for an hour or so on the phone. His home phone is still the same. Call or email me for his new cell phone number. He doesn't work at Turbine Generator anymore, but is still consulting for them in his new business (as a consultant, obviously).
: I watch the board from time to time and I was just thinking about our old praise and worship team, specifically you, Cari, Jason, and Chip. Just curious about how everyone is doing.
Kristi, Cari, and Kat sing in our worship band for Parallel Universe @ 3:30 and are also singing BGVs on my album, as is Suze Meredith (formerly Tremper). Jonvon is playing in the w-band too, and plays some pretty amazing leads on his Taylor acoustic, BION. Ted is playing drums and Tim bass. Sometimes Lane fills in if someone is missing. Lots of open-mike sharing of songs, poems, and prose for the first hour or so of Parallel Universe.
: I'm still playing, although it would be nice to have musicians to play with. Lately it's been me, my recording gear, a few instruments and a drum machine. Not live, but at least it works for now.
Aren't you out in Lakeland now? Send me your new phone number. You're welcome to come by 3:30 Sunday. You'd dig it.
