I don't really celebrate holidays. I enjoy it when the family gets together, but that is not consistently around any given holiday.
: 2)What is a thought that you think that is very original or that you feel is unique?
There are 6 billion people on this planet. I have many throughts which I find original within my own little reality, but I have no illusion that any of them are truly unique. There are too many other people in this world to beleive that.
However, that is the reason that I enjoy creative endeavours -- even if someone has done something similar, it is your own unique personal creation.
: 3)What is your best skill?
Logic and analytical thought. I wish it were something else, but through school, work, and play, my brain has just developed this way. It pays the bills, though, because I can do this crazy computer programming thing fairly easily.
: 4)What part of nature do you most identify with?
Rocks.
: 5)Which animals have you learned from and what did you learn?
Cats - I think that cats are buddhist because they always live in the moment and adapt to whatever comes up. They are very bad buddhists, however, because they are very attached to their things and think that they deserve anything they want. But, this also can teach by way of negative reinforcement.
Mostly, I think they can teach people a lot about just sitting and watching the dust go by.
: 6)What do you think about silence and about being alone?
Both very good things. In almost any quantity. But one has to be aware of when they are really getting something out of it, and when they are doing it just to say they were alone, meditating in silence. If you want to no longer be alone, then don't be. Otherwise, I find it healthy to be alone for as long as one can stand it.
: 7)Who to you is beautiful?
Are we talking about physical beauty?
If so, anyone who carries themself in a way that shows a high comfort level with their own self and with their own body image. This really can be just about anyone, and it may even vary by day.
And if we are taling about non-physical beauty?
I grant that anyone can be beautiful on this level. But the people that I personally find beuatiful are the ones to whom I feel a 'connection'. This seems to be intuitive, and I cannot define it any better than that at the moment.
