Is there a modification to the code that could show posts in the order posted, and not by thread? And could the posts also have links to the full thread inside instead of just follow-ups?
Could such a view be added to the menu on top as an option?
That way people can keep using that board as it exists now, but we also could have a view to see what is new and not have to scroll and search.
Personally, I don't mind scrolling, but my browser doesn't keep a history, so i miss new posts on old threads quite a bit anyway.
But, as far as cross-posting old threads, I agree that we should probably add in a link to the last item from the thread we are responding to.
Again, is there a programmatic way to handle this?
Even a bigger question, do you have time or energy or interest to make such modifications to the code?
