I do the same thing. I analyze everything. Mostly myself, but I psychoanalyze human motivation a lot. My mom burned into me the habit of seeing what other people were thinking when they did or said things. This makes me a devil's advocate a lot of times, which really gets on people's nerves! I just figure most people aren't thinking of those they might hurt, they think first of themselves--it's instinct. With God's grace, we can change some of it, but it will always be natural.
