: Me! Is it Red Rover?

Its not Red Rover...quite a bit more chaotic than that. :)

: Just out of curiousity, where did you grow up and how old are you?

Well, I haven't quite grown up yet. I keep thinking that I did, but it never seems to be the case. I have spent significant parts of my life in Northern Wisconsin, Iowa, and Colorado, though.
And as for how old I am? Sadly, I am now 30. Not that the age bothers me, but it seems like it took me 10 years to recover from my education, so I am just now starting my life. And I feel way too old to be just getting started. But I'll get over it.

: More childhood games that kids just (sadly) dont' play anymore:

: Red Light Green Light -- Ooh, I hated this one. I played it because my best friend loved it, but it was not my favorite.
: Hide n' Go Seek -- this one I do still play, and it is kinda fun. Sometimes.

The games that I still play from when I was a child are mostly card games -- Cribbage, Uno, Hearts

: Some of these might be very localized or even made up by my own group, we were very creative and almost never sat in front of a TV for any reason except an occasional cartoon after school or Saturday Morning.

You know, growing up I thought that I watched a lot of TV. As I got older and met a more diverse group of people, I learned that this was not the case. I actually grew up watching less than most people -- just a few weekly shows, and disney on sunday nights, and some shows on nickelodeon when that channel first came out. I also learned that most people did not hunt and grow their own food like my parents did. We still shopped, but I thought that everyone grew their years veggies and fruits in the summer and canned them for the winter. And while I don't like hunting or fishing today, it provided us with a large portion of our food for the year.

I guess the reason that I mention all of this is that i think its a great thing to find out about people's childhoods to find what was different what was the same, etc. For a variety of reasons.
