my reflection in the wake of 9.11

: yesterday being 9.11 there was alot of media coverage on one act of terrorism and : yesterday esp and all last year i heard almost everywhere..."this was the worst terrorist attack on america" : that was not the worse terrorist attack. there have been numerous attacks. but we refuse to look at them.. : was anything done to the organizations that burnt down churches in the south : or : the ones who forced a black person to drink out a different fountain or any other act of color seperation : how about the genocide we have caused to japanese americans, native americans and all people of color : what about the hundreds of attacks yearly on gays,transgender and those who people assume they are because they fit the profile : how long will it take for us to be us..we will never be united as nation : when we read our history books we can read about two people who came here from other lands : one christopher columbus another desoto what did these men do... : and if you count all the massacres and deaths of the indians it goes way above 3025 people who lived in our this soil.... : i am sad yes. when will justice be done when will there be memorial serivces for these crimes : when will our nations stop acting in a way of terrorism on its own.. : when will racial jokes,and slurs stop wne will hatred on different people groups rest when will ever be completely true to loving our neighbor when can accepts other pain they live with because we push them away little by little... : i am guilty of this i do push people away sometimes : i do use racial slurs sometimes : i have the ability to hate you and hold a wall up : i am just as guilty as those who murder, those who burn churches, those who refuse equal access to life just because : i know i have hurt people,,,to anyone who reads this if i have hurt you please let me know...iam so sorry....kris
