Well I'm exhausted... 8) a 13 hour shift at the hospital today and tomorrow will be even longer. We found out today that Jael is scheduled for surgery tomorrow morning around 10:00 AM Central... possibly sooner. Please continue to pray. And thank you all for your kind words of encouragement and support.
Tonight the nurse on duty found out that I was a Christian and after talking discovered that we both went to the same church!! (Our church has about 800 members spread out over three different services). So when I left the hospital room tonight, he asked if he could pray with me. It meant so much to me. And what a witness it was to see this male nurse stop in the midst of a busy NICU surrounded by doctors, nurses, babies, and parents to pray aloud over Jael.
