Oh, my...
Upon the first viewing of the movie 'InsiDer tradinG' . directed by Kat, we are at first taken to a familiar cityscape, as seen in many movies recently. But Kat soon takes us in a brand new direction, not only by casting Sumo Guy (My personal favorite actor in this realm), but by showing us the dichotomies of our current society. She contrasts the language barriers of different cultures. She shows us the differences in perception of those from other cultures by using differring animation techniques on each of the characters.
Bringing a second scene to the movie is pure brilliance. It shows that we cannot always learn everything at our first opportunity. We must strive to bridge the gaps between individuals who only get to see each other sprodaically, and who want to bring cohesiveness to our differing worlds.
Finally, she brings us to a close with the awesome spectacle of the word, 'MEEP'.
Words fail me. I laughed, I cried, it was better than 'Cats.'
With Love,
Bob
