: Aimee and I spoke with both Jael's Cardiac Surgeon and her Cardiologist today. Both confirmed that she is progressing well. We also spoke with a Pediatric Geneticist who will do further tests but initially believes that she may have something called VATER Syndrome. Each letter of that stands for a different part of the body that "could" show signs of birth defects. We already know about her Transposition of the Heart, and her missing radius bone. She also may have a misformed vertebrae or two. Again, we are gonna have to have more tests. We were assured that regardless of what else they find, VATER Syndrome doesn't cause developmental problems. We were so relieved to hear that.
: Thanks again for the prayers and support. She's getting better and better each day. I know God holds her in the palm of his hand.
: We suspect that we will be in the hospital at least another week to two weeks. I'll keep you all posted.
