Cari's grandma survived the surgery but is on life support. She is not comatose, though, just too weak to live on her own. She sometimes opens her eyes but cannot do anything else. Cari said she seems distressed because she cannot communicate, and she really wants to say something.
Everyone who loves her knows her as "Nanny", so I will call her that from now on. Please keep praying for Nanny. She is a little tiny lady about 5' tall that has been the sunshine in the lives of her whole clan for many years. You could not find a sweeter lady.
