: : Catfish, what is RCT. Just wondered. Thanks. Bill

: oh didn't read far enough. ROLLER COASTER TYCOON. thanks. bill

Roller Coater Tycoon is a video game for the PC. Since it's release in 1998 (I believe,) it has since remained in the top ten in video games on the PC.

Roller Coaster Tycoon allows you to build amusemen parks, like you would play Monopoly, you gotta have the money to build your amusement parks. How do you get the money to build? You charge the guests for entry into your park and sell food, drinks and souveniers at rediculously high prices.

You can also aquire new rides and attractions as you plan, build and create nausious rides that cause your guests to 'hurl". You also have to hire Handymen to sweep and tidy up the place, and hire Mechanics to fix the rides when they break down.

You can advertize to bring more & moe guests into your park, you can plant trees, shrubs & flowers to beautify the park, (guests love it,) and you can build rollercoasters from scratch. Not just wood coasters, but the high tech, up to the minute, steel roller Coasters as well.

RCT has had two add on packs that can be bought seperatly, or the original game AND the add on packs on one CD Rom. RCT is also revealing their newest installment called, (of ALL things,) RCT2. Which is a totally different game, altogether. It's due out Oct. 15th.

RCT will take over your life, if you let it. I've been playing it off and on for about two years, and I find new things in it constantly, even today. This is a great alternative to the blood and guts, super violent games where gamers shoot, beat and kill everyone IN the game.

If you got an imagineer in you, screeming to get out, or you just love amusement parks, or if you like building stuff, this is the perfect outlet for you.

Visit my site, and I will devulge 'all' :-)
