Today my vet killed my Bengal cat Jazz. I took my boy in for a simple neuter. When I arrived to get him, I was told that when Jazz woke up after surgery, he was licking at his wound and actually opened it up, so the vet had to reclose it. They said I should watch him to make sure he left it alone now. But Jazz was completely out of it in the carrier and couldn't even hold his head up. It was obvious they had RE-MEDICATED him to get him to leave the wound alone. He could not handle the second massive dose of sedatives. Jazz died in my car on the way home from an overdose.
I am quite sad. And a bit angry. Please pray for me.
I now have to deal with this vet and his liability. I will never use him again anyway, and I surely cannot bring back my dead boy. Still, Jazz was an expensive cat and he should at least pay for him; it would show some integrity.
